• Delta Sigma Pi is a coed professional business fraternity open to all business and economics majors with at least 15 hours of college credit and a minimum GPA of 2.6. Acceptance to Terry in not a requirement.This semester’s recruitment will be held:

• Tuesday (January 19) at 7PM- MEET THE CHAPTER
  Location: MLC Room 171
  Dress: Professional
  Come mingle with the brothers and get a feel for what we’re all about.

  Wednesday (January 20) at 7PM- PROFESSIONAL SPEAKER
  Location: Tate Theater
  Dress: Professional
  UGA DSP alum, Ben Wilson, from Risk Placement Services will speak with us about how his experience as a Deltasig influenced his transition from a collegiate career into the corporate property insurance industry.

  Thursday (January 21)- DINNER WITH THE CHAPTER
  Location: Tate Reception Hall
  Dress: Business Casual
  Free dinner will be provided!

· DELTA SIGMA PI is the only business organization that has a national staff with an on campus visit and consultation program of support.

· DELTA SIGMA PI is a member of the Professional Fraternity Association allowing for networking and leadership development among 40 other professional fraternities (Alpha Kappa Psi and Phi Gamma Nu are not members)

· DELTA SIGMA PI provides the membership badge to all new members during professional initiation ceremonies. (many other groups have optional purchase plans)

· DELTA SIGMA PI does not allow any residential housing by any chapter thereby keeping liability issues to a minimum and keeping dues and insurance costs lower than similar fraternities.

· DELTA SIGMA PI membership is for life with no renewals or alumni dues and has members in more than 45 countries around the world.

· DELTA SIGMA PI is a selective membership to students pursuing bachelors or masters degrees in business and economics only – and the faculty. (membership in similar groups is open campus-wide like general clubs, social fraternities, or to business minors)

· DELTA SIGMA PI is among the most diverse groups of any type of organization.

· DELTA SIGMA PI, through its Leadership Foundation, provides nearly 60 individual scholarships to its members.

· DELTA SIGMA PI chapters sponsor more than 1500 professional programs and over 1000 service events annually and receive numerous awards for it

· DELTA SIGMA PI hosts the largest national convention of any similar fraternity and hosts 10 leadership events each year for member and chapter development.

· DELTA SIGMA PI provides a jobs posting section on its national website for use by collegiate and alumni members nationwide.

Delta Sigma Pi is a Professional Co-ed Business Fraternity founded in 1907 and currently has 196 active collegiate chapters, 8 colonies, and 59 alumni chapters nationwide.
