Hey brothers. Here’s how the fundraising points system is going to work. In the past we have said that all brothers must have 40 fundraising points per semester, but we haven’t all been clear on exactly what “points” are. This semester each brother will be required to raise a minimum of $25 in order to cover various costs the fraternity incurs over the semester. Each dollar will count as a single point. The remaining balance of points (15) can be earned through effort. Before every fundraising activity, either Borjana or Laney will be announcing how to earn fundraising dollars as well as effort points. Dollars will generally be awarded to people who physically donate goods to be sold or are responsible for a direct contribution of money to the fraternity (personally or through friends, family, or businesses). Effort points will be awarded for working at fundraising events or participating. Thanks!
